What's factory color for an 81 2F block?

I am almost ready to spray my original 2F from an 81 FJ40.

Anybody know what the stock paint choice is for block, head, inspection cover, valve cover and brackets?

Valve cover is cast aluminum I cant ever get one to look good, so I do this.

Block, side cover and all brackets are black.

I saw your thread and figured you would say that. I was hoping it was a little brighter than that. Saw this somewhere and really like the way it turned out.

Should I replicate the look below. Silver and Black?

I like the silver and black, prefer the top picture. Navy blue would probably be my choice, darker than the one in the picture below. Here is a 2H from the diesel section -
