Picking up a poop brown 87 FJ60... need new color

I'm picking up an 87 FJ 60 that it POOP BROWN. It has the typical fender rust that I want to cut out and start with am SOA, sliders, and a different color...

SO what color? My buddy I ride with aready has the dark metal flake green, similar to toyota Imperial Jade Mica on his 82 FJ60... So I gotta do something different... after all the threads I'm going Ace tintable... I am painting my 4runner almond color to practice..... But I need help on the FJ60... I actually dig the wood panel decal if I can incorporate it... HELP!!!! I have seen a lime green 4runner and bright orage fj40 so that's outta the picture!!!

Look through these pictures, you may find a color that you like. Most of these rigs belong to members of this forum.

Stay away from the flake if you plan on off roading at all...

Find a color that is easily matched.

I found that Silver, Orange and Red are the hardest colors to match when doing touch up repairs in the future. (Company Trucks)
