Another "Which Paint?" post
Almost time to repaint. This truck is going hunting in the Mojave & Sonoran Deserts so it's gonna get A LOT of desert pinstriping. I'd like a paint that will buff out a lot of the scratches that will be inflicted. Does something like this even exist? Oh, and it would be even nicer if the application process is not too complicated (single stage?) since I'm doing the painting myself (with the "help" of an experienced auto painter).

If you're going to scratch it up that much why not spray it with rattle cans? When you scratch the hell out of it you can swing by the hardware store and touch it up.
otherwise tower paint can mix custom rattle cans for touch ups __________________ John 1983 VJ47 Crew Cab "The Great Pumpkin" 1992 M-101 Tons of 40 parts for sale <---Link Finally I can get what I've always wanted....a used Toyota. |
