stripping chrome
Hey I was wondering if anybody has done a "blacked out grill" and had to get rid of the chrome on it. I'm planning on doing this and I just want an idea of what I should do.

You could take it to a sand blasting shop or you could just grind the chrome off.

But it's not chrome. Sandblasting/grinding the plastic grille is way over the top.
Hence the advice already given to just sand and paint. Make sure the sanded surface is tight (won't lift off) and any glaze is roughed up to give a tooth to the new paint, and then shoot. __________________ ="Are you gonna sit there on that friggin computer all day or what?"The desert dwellin, roadrunner chasin, soooper-genius!
