Almost all cabs here are totally covered in some kind of film, somewhat like window tinting. Because of special taxation rules, a cab-owner can sell a cab after 2½ years with a profit, so they do what they can to keep them nice. The film protects the paintwork and is a great add-space, so you see all kinds of mercs (almost all cabs here are mercs) with adds on, like a cab covered in pinewood, because it advertises for pine flooring.

that sure is wicked cool. Drive that in to a sporting goods parking lot and you'll find drool all over it when you're done shopping.
