I confirmed today that the LPG kit will work on the 4.3L though I initially bought it for the V8.... need to get an aftermarket intake with the correct pattern to match though, only 100$. I should have the 4.3L in a couple weeks, my buddy Luke is pulling it out of a donor vehicle soon...

next up is the tool box mount, then maybe the sliders, after that the front axle will come out to get cleaned up, diff protection, and painted, as soon as the shackles come from sean the hybrid 6-leaf rear spring packs will be ready to go in, just gotta get some new ubolts from napa

jeff has the half doors almost done, and he wants to sand down the whole truck so we can spray it all red

when are you going to get the 4.3 jeff?

thanks for posting the pics John! I mounted a set of Supra buckets last night... driver side is a power seat and yes..... it works but the cab is so tight the adjustments are minor but all the same, very comfortable

practically bolt it

Do those have the bar across the bottom like the 4runner ones? I haven't put any effort into putting mine in because I remember how sore my lower back was after a weekend of wheeling. If they don't I may have to start searching again.

I did not feel a bar in the lower... the driver's lower cushion seat actually lifts up and lowers via power, then the back goes forward and back, and the lumbar goes in and out, all power : )

I swapped them on a whim, glad I did!

jeff painted his new wheels -

ifs wheel bearing hubs, stock solid rotors redrilled and bolted on, just need bolts to remount the calipers, then repack the wheel bearings, and install new wheel bearing seals

dom built a tube truss for the front axle yesterday -

new budbuilt shackles, there's no drivetrain in it, so the angle will be a lot better later

pass ubolts installed -

front axle should be 2" forward from stock once there's more weight on the springs -

cleaned and painted front axle -

1/4" plate diff guard i made friday

im gonna get new caliper bolts tomorrow, and should have the wheel bearing seals tuesday, then i can put everything together for good and see what the wheelbase looks like w/ the 37's, should be about 106-107"
