Weekend May 18-20


Derrick an I had a great weekend. I bet tween the 2 of us we caught an released 50 to 60 bass. We also caught enough Crappie on Saturday for dinner.
On Sunday May 20th we went over to K-Rocks an wheeled the wee out of the rigs. Ate bragts from the grill for lunch. We had put a Detroit Locker in the rear of his FJ40, used the certificates I’d won at the Sprig Quarterly fer $100 savis. He got around much better!
It was a warm day an while headin home I noticed Derrick fallin back. His rig was not runnin well an makin noise. So we parked it. Went to dinner at El Charro's in Iola. And returned that night from Wichita with the pick-up an tow-bar. We got home bout 3am.
The next day checkd er out, Radiator was lo, wern’t knockin. Told him to change the oil, look for metal, if none found then fill radiator an take er for a drive. So far, so good. We are keepin our fingers crossed.
