Free dizzy, non-usa

Hello,

I bought one of trollhole's new carbs to replace mine and he mistakenly shipped me a dizzy with it as well. He said I did not need to return it and asked that I pass on some Cruiser Karma. So, it is free to anyone who needs it. The dizzy is not electric but is a vacume advanced distributor. I should have it later this week. Here is a link to what I am talking about. Cheers.

My brother's '74 FJ40 could use a new dizzy to help get it going again...

My brother and I (and his truck...) thank you and Trollhole. I'll put up photos of it installed once I have it in my hands.

Hey taco, I already gave dibs to zebra on the dizzy. Unless you are offering to pick it up for him and know zebra the dizzy is no longer available. The brown truck dropped it off at my house yesterday so I do have it. If nick chimes in that you can pick it up for him that is fine by me. I could not believe how pretty the new carb looks. Very excited to get my jalopy up and running.

Hey Ted,

phishtaco is a friend of mine. If he's willing to pick it up for me that's fine.

Marty,

Thanks for the offer. I'll let you and Ted work out the details on making the exchange.

Thanks again to both of you.

Nick

Sounds good. Taco I am actually heading down to Hillsboro tomorrow to visit a friend. I am leaving around noon tomorrow, so maybe we could meet up along the way? Otherwise you can stop by my house anytime this weekend as my wife will be home and she can give it to you, the dizzy that is. PM me if you need my address, etc.

Nick, did we discuss the relative merits of this dissy when you visited?

Maybe I could test this one to see if it works well, before it's installed?
Might even be possible to clean up some sticky bits and get it working better.

Jim, if you are around this weekend I could drive down and let you check it out. I need a charcoal canister that is missing from my evap system. If you have one in usable condition on one of your parts rigs let me know. Thanks.
