Rebuild fun

So,
Wrenching day for me, I want to rebuild the frt axle this weekend and the rear axle next weekend, I finally finished cleaning up my garage So I am ready to go. If all goes well I will have the axle torn down, painted and be ready to re install by saturday if anyone is bored and wants to offer "moral support".

Outside chagrin falls,
Auburn Township technically. I went to start pulling the steering linkage to prep for paint and change out all the tie rod ends, Well the bumper was bothering me, It has been bent since I bought it and the right side plate rivets had broken loose, and bent the Hell out of the top plate. I spent the evening straightening the brackets and grinding and painting, So I am a little behind schedule. Now that there is no bumper on the front end of the truck I have good access to the steering linkage, Hope to get that off tomorrow and primed and painted, Then I can pull the front axle out.

Thats ok,
Lockrite came in yesterday so I might just do the rear axle tomorrow, install the lockrite and "test" it out at the local quarry.

Well I was totally sidetracked,
Picked up some 3/16th wall box tube and fabbed up a new bumper instead of what I intended to do.
Maybe I will get started tonight or tomorrow, Have to be careful though, Mothers day is sunday and I better not piss of the better half.
