How backed up are you now Jim?
I have a core 78 2f carb that could use some love before I pull the Holley of my truck.
If you are backed up I will attempt to rebuild it myself and see how I do.

Way backed up, to the tune of 5-6 weeks.

If you wanna bring the carb down and mow my yard & clean up the shop & walk the dog, I'll build/desmog/tweak the carb for ya.

Yeah, you considered it for a moment....

Hmmmm,
Three hour drive followed by yard work in exchange for the same stuff I have to do at home.... tempting.
Perhaps I should buy a rebuild kit form you and give it a go on my own.

After the hijack and back to the fun at hand, I will tuck my tail between my legs and bag out, From the sounds of it I would be solo on thursday, or drive down on friday, So 8 hours in the truck, one day of wheeling and then 8 hours home. I will pass,
Any interest in going somewhere a little closer to home? Anyone know there way around wellsville? Marty, I still want those wheels, I will shoot you a pm and get you paid, I can worry about the shipping later if you don't mind sitting on them.

No staying at the scooby-doo campground w/ old lady Withers...
