Yeah, there should be some 60-series axle assemblies available here soon.

Jim, let me know what you want for a rear and or a front. I guess I don't really need the diffs. Throw a nice rebuilt carb into the bed of nicks truck for me also

Cruiser88, if you should buy a truck in Cincinnati, I'll have an empty trailer to at least CBus if it needs a lift. Just kick in for some of that $4/gal diesel the truck loves to drink...

Cruiser, do you want a carrier? That is the actual core of the diff assembly, the piece of metal that carries the ring gear on the outside and the spiders on the inside.

Or do you want a diff, complete w/ 3.70 gears?

Or do you want an axle housing?

Would you like fries with that? Care to supersize your axle for an extra 89 cents?

I didn't know you just needed a carrier.

There's carriers laying around here now. They are wrapped up in E-1973 diffs, but you can have the whole assembly.

What is this thread about?

Yer carrier is not bent. Yer axle housing is bent.

So you want a bare housing?

E=early. Early through 1974 FJ's have a coarse spline pinion and tiny flange. Useless stuff.

Yea i want a 60 bare housing

I am also going to cough up the $$ for Poly Performance axles

If you needed to wait till your almost ready to crush whats left that is fine(on your 60's that is)

ZebraBeef just came through with 2Feets truck, to look at the my truck. So you should mark this thread "SOLD" or "STOLED" as in stolen.

Was good to meet a few more folks from the CBus area. My brother and I had a good time visiting everyone. Got home about 5:30am after some late night rewiring in Jim C.'s driveway. Stupid trailer wiring... Also tightened a couple way loose u-bolts in the front. Bet Cruiser88 was slackin on the job! Truck ran and drove well and overall I'm happy with it.

and Octongue, the nice OH State Trooper who had a little chat with me about not having a plate at 3:30 am in a rest area just north of Kings Island didn't think it was stolen.

That was a treat for me.
I handed Nick wrenches while he laid in the gravel tightening rusty u-bolts.
I handed his brother cutters & crimpers while he laid on the tailgate wrasslin' w/ all the wiring in the rear fender.

I watched other people work!

Hope you guys can stop by and wrench some more.
