Need some 225/75/15's

Hey Guys,

Sorry I haven't been to active lately. The whole Army thing has me pretty busy. Anyway i am looking for a set of used tires. I need 225/75/15's for my samurai. I am planning on driving it to Ft. Eustis this summer and the 30x9.50s are a little to much for it for the road. So if anyone has some decent 225's laying around please let me know.

- jason

I have some, Not sure on the size, at's (Durango brand??) that were on my 40 when I bought it, not sure on exact size but around 29" if memory serves. I will crawl up in the attic and check if it sounds close.

Oh and yours for a half rack of shiner bock.
LMK and I can crawl up and see exactly what size they are.

Dave

Hey Jason,
There's 4 all terrains on a FJ60 sittting here, not doing much of anything, 'cept holding this parts truck up off the dirt. They look small, probly 235/75R15 at the max. If you wanna stop by we can go over to the neighbors shop and pry them off the rims.

I have a spare set of bald 33's to put under the parts truck 'til it gets squashed.

So they are Futura brand, Durango a/t in a 215 75 r15 size. might have 1k miles on them. Like I said they were on the 40 when I bought it, The guy who I bought it from thought they would help sell it I guess. Still have the little nubbies on the sides. I have 4 that are in the attic if you need them. They are not mounted on anything now though.

Brigestone Desert Duelers - Original 1987 tires

Hey -

I have 5 of these that were on the original stock wheels on my 87 60. They have a very few small cracks on the tread pattern (from aging no doubt) but they have lots of tread left. Original owner bought bigger wheels almost imediately, so I would say these have about 10,000 on them at the very most. The truck only has 37K on it, so these have a ton of life left.

As for size - heck if I know. They are on the 15s', and they must be about 225's.

Yours free if you want them.

Jeff
