Looking for a Welder (want sliders for an 80)

I want some sliders for my 80 and am hoping to save a little money in the process (college student). Has anyone got them made locally? I don't need steps, it can be really simple as long as it works.

Hadji.....I would look at the write up in the 80s section by box rocket on howto make trailgear sliders work. Then maybe some could fab you some cat protection and some brackets to install them. 80s sliders are so damn expensive.

in the tech archives are the plans by George Scolaro, Have seen a few of them and if done by the plans, they are pretty well built. The steel is Hellishly expensive right now. I have a 110 volt welder up in chagrin falls area if you need some help.

If I went this route who could I get to fab it together. I have very little welding and no metal work experience.
