These are from the new trail...

The first one is me stuck... unable to drive around a tree without turning right away from the tree and across the fall line when I was already at 30 degrees tilted left and probably a similar amount nose-down with the passenger rear still climbing. Dave had marked the little tree for removal but had not yet cut it. I was the first big truck through that spot (Jeeps and 40s made it through). Lucky for me Rami had his famous chain saw with him and after sitting for 15 minutes or so staying in place solely by the force of my butt cheeks clamped to the seat he did way with the tree and I steered left, got level and continued down the steep hill.

The other 2 pics are a cool twisty spot a little later on that trail.

Mark

Great it was

That was what the doctor ordered, the day that should have been two, revived my love for the 80. my friend Dave who tagged along, posted some pictures on his blog

Staring Down the Barrel of a Gun documenting the day.

BIG BIG thanks to Dave for building hosting managing the nice network of trails. I can only hope to have a set up like that one day, now I know what to strive for. and thanks to the gang for making me feel like one of the crew. I am sure I will see you all again before long.

PS when my son Wes saw the mud on the truck he said " Dad I should of come with you".
