New GCLC shirt
OK,
To appease the masses I have posted yet a second slogan poll. The first 2 are the 1st and 2nd place winners of the 1st poll. The last 2 are what folks complained about that weren't on the first poll.
Vote for your favorite today.

What does this MEAN?
"Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads."
We don't actually go ANYWHERE! IT would be different if we were in fact exploring the outback, or the tundra, or Alaska.... but WE DON'T! We (mostly) live in urban/suburban areas and we wheel on trails that were specifically cut and are clearly marked... LIKE A ROAD!
Yeesh...

I agree with you Mark. John sounds more like a TKE Geek than a Phi Kappa. Seriously, a quote from a 20+ year old movie? Why not just put up a quote in Klingon, or something even more witty like "May the torque be with you." I hope that if that does get voted in, we make the letters the same color as the shirt... that or very poorly ironed on. John you play any WoW recently?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you guys are killing me. I was happy with the one I voted for in the first poll, I was just bitching for the fun of it. It's Jon who caved in, yeah that's right, Jon. This is too much fun,
TKE?!? Are you kidding me Joey??? Well on second thought, that's better than being a Phi Psi. Have I met you? I don't remember your name.
Now we're fucked. Someone voted for "Yes, my truck is an extension of my penis." God damn, there goes this hobby, time to find a new one.

Dude you go/went to RIT and you brag about it... it doesn't matter what frat you belong too, you are a nerd.
You don't know me but I had a friend from HS go there and he was a TKE geek. I went to Scranton... not Frats there because we were all too busy getting fucked up to actually put effort into anything including going to class.

Don't bother with the double bead locks lots of weight, and it is a shitload of bolts to deal with. I say you get the Staun internal bead locks.

Went there, thought about it, was turned away by the price. My doubles cost me $200 for a set of 4, granted I need to recenter them, but that puts them at $400 or so, which is about half what the Stauns cost, plus I'd have to buy another set of rims anyway because I wouldn't run those daily.
Pfft, weight. This is going on a 60. I'm not concerned about weight, especially when this winter I'm due to lose another 50 lbs from the salt eating my body anyway. It'll all even out.

(whiney, nasally, school kid rant on)
WTF HERE. THIS ISN'T FAIR! WHY ISN'T MY SUGGESTED SLOGAN IN THE POOL OF REVISED CHOICES??! (sigh). Mine was the-e-e best of ALL the suggestions (sob) and I just know MINE would win if it were included in THIS poll. (sniff, sniff) (heavy sob) (waah-waah-waah...) .......(MOMMY!!!)
Just kidding here (to most). Rich and I will forever love the ole flux-capacitor reference, even if it's not in the running.
Mike in PA (ballot cast already)
Additional slogan suggestions (should there be a third 'revison' of the on line poll):
LAND CRUISER
The Zen of Off-road
TOYOTA
The Zen of 4-LO
YOU CAN'T BOLT ON EXPERIENCE
.

Enough with this crap already! I'll vote again and again, doesn't matter. But let's stick to a list we can all agree on. Yes a third poll may be in order. Just list every damn one we have gotten so far and just go in best to worst order. If we have 10 submissions, you vote in order of best like to no like. The top 3 winners go to the finals and we post a poll.
My favorite by far is a modification of one not on the list previously mentioned...
(Toyota plus 4 Lo equals Zen)

How about we make our slogan...
I can't believe you mother fuckers are going to make me do this!
As in...
I can't believe you mother fuckers are going to make me do this! Now I need to become president next year just to do 1 thing, which is ram a slogan down your throats that represents the NYC area rather than the lame ass generic or nerdy choices. Bastards. I warn you though, that will be the only thing I do, choose a slogan than I won't do shit before or after that. And frankly who is going to stop me from becoming president... not like anybody actually votes.
What could possibly go wrong? SERIOUSLY!?!?! Why not just throw a yeehaw at the end there?
