Possible open seat for GSMTR

Men,

My wife is on the fence about attending this year. The dilemma: her mother from California wants to visit around that time and has already purchased her airfare (so I’m already guessing that she’s 99.9% out). That means I’ll likely have an open seat for the event. It’s a long, long, solo drive to Murphy, NC towing a trailer so I might be looking for a co-pilot.

Before I ‘officially’ put it out there, is there interest from anyone on the list in taking the week after Mothers Day off and attending what might be the final hoorah for GSMTR with me? Transportation and accommodations are already arranged (we have a big cabin rented that has all the amenities) so you'll just need to pack a bag and get some grub. I’m trying to have a ‘Plan B’ in place for when my wife officially says she isn’t going. Her biggest fear in not attending is that there will be no relief driver to break up the monotony of the trip. Not that big a deal to me, but she loves me and it really is a long drive.

Lemme know if you’re interested in going. I know it’s short notice and all. Just trying to get a feel for things to see if there's any interest.

Hey Scott,
Thanks for the reply. I've been having computer issues for the past two weeks and have often not had internet access. One of the local guys here is pretty much locked-in so I'm afraid to say that the open seat has been filled.
Will try and post pictures when we get back.
