New to Las Vegas

My name is Clayton Rasmussen

It look like we will be moving to Las Vagas at the first of the month (that is if we can find a place to live)

I hope to meet some of you soon

Our first Cruiser was and still is a 1982 FJ40 bought in 1984 (that we still have)
My second Cruiser was (what is left of it, frame, and title) and still is an 78 fj40
My latest Cruiser is only a frame and tub 70 fj40 (that I hope to build into a buggy one day)

Thanks for the warm welcome at Chili's tonight. I hope to be able to attend a run soon as well. My trucks mostly stock so it's going to limit some of my off road capability, but that's only temporary. I'm hoping a lift and tires are in the near future for me.

Mike.

Glad you were able to make it. Some of the trails we run will not be a problem for your rig. A 100 series in stock form is plenty capable for some of our outings.

Welcome.
We cover a few "wagon-friendly" trails. PM me an email address, and we will keep you informed of our monthly trail runs. We try to get them posted here, but sometimes forget.

I've been lurking for a while and I guess that I should stop and say hi. I have a 74 FJ40 with 4" suspension lift currently running 33's, and a small block conversion(350). This was the car that I drove threw college and its been sitting at my parents for the last 10 years. Let me tell you it was one sweet ride for a college kid! Its been parked for 5 years but still runs great, just needs a little TLC.

Look forward to getting togather with you guys and doing some wheeling here the the Las Vegas area. Is there an email list that I could get added to so that I dont miss out on any group trail rides?

New FJ Owner

Hey, everyone! Thought I'd latch on to this 3 year old post: I just purchased a 1970 FJ40 and have no idea what I'm doing! It has some great features, and some not-so-great features, but I'm willing to throw down and see what I can make of it. Anyone here in CO? Any tips on where to start on this forum? I have lots of questions about electrical work, body work, ARB, suspension... just about everything, I guess

Great to be here!
