almost progress
Stuff collected during the latest Bakersfield trip...
That is (hopefully) the useful parts of an NP203 in the middle.
I haven't fixed, built, or disassembled much lately, but I have collected parts...

I wouldn't want to incriminate myself by explaining here...
Ostrich bones for my son's bone collection. Rocks for the garden and my kids' rock collections. Beer for my beer collection. 203 for my parts collection. Wasn't one of the early Magnum ads something about "it really hauls" ?

You're pretty close...if you've ever seen an ostrich up close you pretty much know what a dinosaur looked like.

Is stockpile the correct word?
Whole Foods now carries Indian Wells beer, but at a substantial markup. Can't pass up the opportunity. They have my all time favorite IPA and Bock, and their Gold is pretty good too. They are at 178 and 14, near China Lake, Mojave, and not too far from Death Valley.

Yeah stockpile sounds better, collection implies you plan to keep something for a while. No beer has ever lasted long enough at my house to be considered part of a collection.
OT side note:IPA was originally brewed to be used as part of the British infantry soldiers rations in India. They increased the alcohol content and added more hops to preserve the beer for shipment from England to India. I guess IPA would be a good choice if you plan to stockpile beer.

My house came with a mother in law kitchenette combo...also known as a beer fridge.
