Crazy idea.
So I had a crazy idea and I wanted to see if anyone was up for it.
I have a long weekend coming up for the holiday and was thinking if anyone else wanted to give it a go, how about a run to the first river crossing and back on Fordyce this weekend, Saturday or Sunday either one? I know the trail will be busy the on Friday night and probably Saturday morning. Also not sure what everyone's plans are for the holiday. Just thinking is all.
Now here is where the crazy part comes in, if a few people wanted to go, I will pull the rear third on Drippy, weld it up, cobble a few last minute things to it, grab some extra parts and give it a go.
Anyone else?
Jack

That's a crazy idea. But it sure sounds like fun. We are committed to camping at the Lake or I would have a crazy idea to trailer the 40 and just first gear it all the way.
I definitely want to do the Fordyce later.

Dang! I'd like to go, but after being gone every weekend at comps, I am beat down tired. I think this weekend I am going to relax and take my son fishing.
Hope you do take Drippy, I wanna see some pics of it wheeling!!!!

On call!
Actually, Im looking forward to NOT doing a damn thing this weekend except the crap that I need to get done around the house.
AAAAAAND, Im having a rear brake issue on the rig. The self adj. cable snapped when the rear axel went. I replaced it. When I was jacking with the drums, the cylinder was dripping...didnt think too much about it. Was driving it on Sun. The pedal went to the FLOOR.
No fluid is has been lost, but something is wrong, so Ill have to tear back into it and replace that cylinder.
Id still love to do that though.

Well it looks like everyone is busy, which is probably a good thing. Kind of saving me from
myself.

Wish I could, but I have fam damily coming to town.
Between that and working 14 hours a day, I don't think I will have time. Looks like this summer will be just like the last 3. All work and no play.

Be a very attentive husband and shoot for a Man Pass to go on one of the club runs.

I'm pretty sure most of my "Man Passes" are canceled this year due to the addition of a small package the stork delivered last month. My leash is about 4 hours long, so anything I do has to be within that range...
