Coyote Flats dates POLL

We need to decide which weekend the majority of those interested want to do the club run to Coyote Flats along with whether to make it a 3-day run or a 4-day run and include a side trip up Silver Canyon or possibly into the Sweetwater Range.

Thanks Dan, I guess I should see if I still have a rig before I vote. Oh well, I voted anyways. I wonder how the diesel 45 would pull the KK?

Then I'll recheck the 5 day option.

I could tag along if allowed, on the August 1st weekend.
And I won't crash anything either...

The first weekend in Aug. would be my choice too (July 31, Aug. 1-2). I won't vote and will have to miss the fun as I have a prior engagement that Friday AM.

I suspect it would tow it over Mt Everest if you had the time.

A 3 day over Aug 1 would work best for me. I could push it out to a 4 day pretty easy.

I'll wait until the poll closes but it appears August 1 weekend will be our event date! We can, for those that want to do this as a 4-day, accommodate both 3 and 4 day attendees by meeting up on Friday in Bishop.

The Thursday group can either do the Sweetwater Range or Silver Canyon (east of Bishop) up to the Bristlecone forests...

Or if the 4-day group would rather take Monday rather than Thursday...

OK: The Coyote Flats run will be over the weekend of August 1, 2009.

I'll make an official thread for this run, but the leave time will be 8:00AM from the WalMart on Damonte Ranch Parkway on Friday July 31, 2009. Expect to meet in Bishop for lunch at 12:00PM noon; then head up to CF.

If anyone is interested I would like to leave on Thursday July 30th and take a group up into the Sweetwater Range (just east of Walker CA) and camp...then on to Bishop Friday morning.

Return to Reno on Sunday August 2nd.

Dan
