Yeah, those guyz NEVER complain about the washboard that is for sure.
They rent the rigs and get the max insurance "just in case" type deal.
Its a blast.

The accepted wisdom is rentals make the BEST offroad vehicles, just don't forget to get the extra insurance.

At least for a couple of guyz, this DOES seem to be the standing logic.
The guyz that rent, do not wheel at all except for Blotch once a year, so it really isnt worth the time, effort and expense of getting and owning a rig for that ONCE a year trip.

Sometimes I can REALLY identify with it, especially for that run in particular. Im afraid my 62 is NOT the best expedition rig anymore the way that it is set up...It just seems to do better on more aggressive terrain like we have around here. Que sera.

NOT THE WIFE'S CAR!!!!!!!

It'd be my Tacoma BEFORE that!
Im considering a lil 3 in lift and some sliders for that. I donno though. Its still the DD, so dont wanna get too crazy either.
Im actually wishing that Id have held out for an 04' taco. I like it, but I just dont LOVE it. Im hoping after I get some new tires (which it DESPERATELY NEEDS) and some rims and the front end leveling kit that it might appeal to me a bit more.
