Cruisers in Airport Auto junk yard
we found:
'85 FJ60 in excellent shape. Only the engine has been touched and NOTHING else! They wanna sell it for $1800. No damages. I took more pics but my Iphone ate them apparently.
There are still two FJ80's ('93 and something else). The '93 is Red.

Thanks for the heads up. Too bad for me it's not brown. Looking for some interior parts...dash pad, door panels, seat covers, etc. Are they parting it out or selling it whole? Maybe there's something else I need...

There are a few things that I might like to pilfer off of there too.

not pick n pull but you can walk in and make a list then tell the dude up front what you need. That junk yard is Nirvana....I used to spend many hours in that place when I was in college, just wandering around

I stopped by and checked out the 60 yesterday afternoon. It is just what Alia176 said...super clean, stock rig. No body damage, no visible rust and 100% complete with 230k on the clock. They guy behind the counter says he got it from original owner and has all service records. He also said it needs a new long block...something about the engine needing to be re-timed??? He told me he'd sell the whole truck for $1500. I gotta tell ya I really thought hard on it - it's way nicer than my 60. I offered him less but he wouldn't budge. With a fresh motor this would be a great ride. If times were better I'd probably just buy it. Maybe someone here is interested. Be kind of a shame to see it parted out.

Ali--can you grab the birf's of the 80 series rigs....we need some more spares in NM.
Also: drive shafts/inner axles (FR/RR), switches, PS rear door cover...
You know man--get the crap that we need down here as spares. I'll take care of shipping and we can split up the cash later.
DO IT!!!

Hmmmm....I just picked up a 60 that needs some body work. Maybe I could swap the WHOLE body. Never tried a motor change-out. I can feel the wife getting angry already.
Any other places in the area with 60s that haven't been picked apart?

They've started processing it. I picked up the PS box and intermediate shaft.
