Really, the only other that can actually SIT through the meetings is Darcie, and Fallon Dan's daughter.

Yeah guys I probably won't make it. I am attached to a task force now, so my hours are all over the place. Most of the time I am working from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, but sometimes I start earlier/later and end the same way. It might be a while before I can make a meeting.

Have fun.

Jack

Joanne would rather stick needles in her eyes than listen to a couple of hours of Cruiser talk.
She usually goes out with one of her friends that night. Like Keith said Darcie and Fallon Dan's daughter are the only two wimmens with the fortitude to endure a BBCNN meeting.

LOL!! My wife did good. She is used to hearing me talk "cruiser" to myself. I think she found it refreshing to hear other voices.

I hate I can't make more meetings, with the way my schedule changes and working at night, it puts me in a pickle.

Julez is RIGHT THERE with Joanne!
She trooped along on the VERY FIRST meeting that I went to, and about fell off the chair asleep.
I ask her from time to time if she wants to go...she chuckles and says..."yeah RIGHT!?"

The swing shift is keeping me away from the meetings, but I am interested in an El Dorado run at the end of the month. Buddy of mine wants to ride shotgun.

That was a fun run last year.

Can someone bring a printout copy of the repeater in this area? Or point me to a site that spells this out with a map preferably! Also, does anyone have a HAM SWR meter I can borrow? I know that Dan S., Jack and myself could use it but those two won't be present at the mtg. I'd like to work on Jack's poor transmission issues while I'm here.

thanks.

Not a comprehensive map of local repeaters but a good start WADG

I just left a message on my answering machine to bring my SWR meter.

Bump because fearless leader seems to have forgotten about the meeting next week.
Pretty much everything stays the same except the date and agenda.
