Gardnerville/Minden members question

I will be out in the Gardnerville Ranchos from Friday 7/13/07 until the night of monday 7/16/07. I wouldn't mind meeting some new friends while I'm in the area. PM me if you'd like to meet up and chat cruisers.

bummer, I have a few other friends I'm gonna try to visit while I'm out there so it shouldn't be a problem keeping busy

Reno's a little further then I want to venture away from the Ranchos. I was looking to keep it no further north than Carson City since I'll be headed up there for some In&Out burger while I'm out there (not a single one anywhere in Utah yet !)

The one in Reno isn't that great either...haven't tried the one in Sparks but I've heard good reports from that location.

When there wasnt a in-n-out around Reno I would drive to Auburn like once a month to get some. Now that they are here I eat it....once a month

Still waiting for a White Castle

The only time to go to In & out is when you are out of town. Otherwise you can't beat Scoopers on Prater Way in Sparks.

Its alway good, cuz you get to taste it TWICE!

I went to "In and Out" ONCE!
I wasnt at all impressed!
If I splurge on a SH*TTY fast food burger, I go to Burger King and get the double whopper with cheese, and a cheese burger chaser!

You must have been ill when you went to In-and-Out. I have never heard of anyone who actually prefers Burger King......until now that is.

I would say, go try it again, their burgers are no only good, but inexpensive as well, and you cant beat "real" fries, made from raw potatoes right on site.

Nope,
not ill!
Its was just SOOOOO frickin SALTY!
Now Im not afraid of salt, but that was just TOOO much for me.
My wife felt the same!
I dont usually partake of fast food too often either...If I do, I hit Quiznos or Port of SCHULBS and try and eat a bit "healthier" than burgers!

Gotta watch my "figure"!

When it's been years since you've eaten In-n-out it doesn't matter how it tastes you're not going to notice. I rather enjoyed the double double and shake on the way out of carson.

Maybe next time I'm out that way I'll try to post up further in advance. Hoping to go out sometime within the first 3-4 months of 2008 to buy my grandpa's old 1 ton chev (tow-rig) from him and drive it back to SLC.

We might be able to do an Eldorado Canyon Run, or Prision Hill. I've never been there but it sounds like fun.
