Originaly I was going to be the trail leader for this run, as it turns out I am going to try to pull the T-case on the 40 so I can get it back to AA. Until we get new shoes on the 100 I don't feel comfortable with it except on the mildest trails.

So unless I can hitch a rode with someone I don't think I'll make this run.

If you and Joanne want to ride with me that'd be great! I should have the engine put back together for this run!

Jason,

You shouldn't have any problems. Most of it is typical Nevada foothill dirt road. There are some areas where you can get down into the creek bed and play in the rocks, but those are all optional.

Jack

I wanna go!! I don't think we have anything planned that weekend. I tried to find East Lake Blvd on my Garmin Mapsource, but it doesn't find it. Is it near Carson City?

My Parents live in Genoa, NV. Maybe I could talk them into taking their Range Rover

Josh,
East Lake Blvd. runs parallel to 395 on the east side of Washoe Lake. Your folks are welcome to join us. The RR would have no problems.

Dan,
As Jack said the main Jumbo Grade road is pretty typical of a lot of Nevada roads. I have taken the Big White truck over it many times.

There are many different routes we can take. Which way we go will depend on what the group feels like and the range of vehicles in the group. I'm hoping Shawn or one of the guys who knows more of the side trails than I do will show up.

I've done this trail in the winter in a stock Jeep Comanche, it is not bad at all if you don't want it to be.

FYI: I took my 100 up (with 33" /pre 35" and 4.88) the waterfull apart of Jumbo Grade between Shawn and Mark in their 40's a year ago and had no problem.

I talked to Shawn the other night he will be there for the run.

I think I'm going to have to pass, I need to get a few loose ends tied up.
