Need to borrow a utility trailer
I bought a new couch and don't think it will fit in the Cruiser very easily. I'd like to borrow a utility trailer to haul it home rather than pay the $80 delivery charge. Does anybody have a utility trailer I could borrow? The couch should be at the warehouse this Friday and I can pick it up after 11. I have the day off so that makes it easy for me to pick up. Just trying to get this lined up or rent one from UHaul. Or if someone has a pickup truck I could borrow that would probably work fine too. I'll trade you the Hundy for a few hours.

What, you can't just throw it on the roof like the rest of the New Mexicans? I saw four guys driving down Montgomery with each one holding on to an upside down couch on the roof. If it worked for them?

I have my little one, a short bed Nissan pickup bed you can borrow. The big one is out of town (unless you want to go to Los Alamos and pick it up) Got a red flag? Won't it just stick out the back of the hundred a little?

If I get a bit of free time from work, we may be able to throw it in my work truck. You are on the westside right? I should be able to sweep it out by Friday. I have properties out there I need to check on anyways. They won't miss me, as long as there are no emergencies which I highly doubt.

I thought about it but wasn't sure if the opening with the tail gate down and the lift gate up would be tall enough. Plus, getting it into and out of that opening would be a serious challenge. It'd be much easier to get it into an open-top trailer or pickup bed.
A friend has offered to let me swap the Cruiser for his DCab Taco for a few hours so I think I'll make that my first plan. And the back of his truck is already clean so there isn't that to complicate matters.

West side yes, near Coors and Paseo. The warehouse for the furniture store is near Unser and I-40.

I've got a friend (irbrito on MUD) who's going to let me borrow his Tacoma. I've got some backups now just in case.
Thanks to everyone for offering assistance.
