we could be a maybe. We've been wanting to go camping again, I'll talk to Ashleigh. Are you wheeling, too, or just camping?

I'll bring my map of the area so you can show me where you'll likely be. We will be up there at the Girl Scout camp on Saturday and Sunday but might leave early and do some exploring of the same area it sounds like you will be camping in.

There are many sweet solitary camping spots in the Jemez. If you look at the terrain and sky and not the obstacles (fallen trees) you can see many old fire roads - if you put the obstacles back after you go through you have an even better chance of no one following you in. Lots of firewood close by as well.

Hopefully in mid-August we'll host a camping trip / free firewood weekend, but we're too busy with family reunion stuff before then. We'll have details at the August meeting.

If I do some exploring Sunday, what road numbers would we be likely to find you on?

117 or 256 (pipeline rd) most likely. i think 256 is the pipeline rd.
