Engine bay Lube Job

Well.. after my recent adventure with the FJ, then alt problems.. I washed the crap out of with degreaser and what not, and I wanted lubricate the whole engine bay. I remember back in venezuela we had places where they'd bathe the engine bay in "gasoil" and it'd come out nice and lubricated. I'm just afraid some other bearings parts are not being lubricated because of the massive ammount of degreaser I used.

So the question is.. do you guys know where to do this locally? and how much would it cost?

Dont know any places that do it but some place that cleans engines probably could. I had this done to a Nissan I owned back in High School but about a month later, the nice shiny lube was all gummed by with dust and road grime. Might want to consider that before you do it.

I can't think of any other bearings that could get damaged. Most everything should be sealed.

They do it in Colombia too, but really do not believe there is any benefit to it other than gumming up the whole engine bay. they call it petrolizada or something like that.
