We can try and change it to the next weekend, i just want to put this clutch in so I can drive further than a 5 miles radius

This HAMOM is not going so well and I have a feeling it's not gonna pan out anyhow. If it doesn't get going soon (more interest involved), I'll just order the parts and attempt it on my own next Saturday

I was going to do the 17th or any date for that matter but nobody chimed in with a peference. Plus fathers day is the next day and people might have plans with family in town or something. I don't care when we have it, we can do it later this afternoon

well the wife and I would love to help. We had been planning the BDOR for a while and are meeting several people there. That being said, if it was on the following Sunday, or something we can definately help. The inlaws are coming in for Fathers day and we are building an addition to the garage....need more parking space. Like I said though, we definately want to help and do this more often. It's a great idea.

June is always a tough month to get people together on the weekends. Between weddings and Father's Day, vacation, and now the bdor thing. I feel your pain flounder, you want to get that rig up and running. You will only need 1 or 2 more people for a clutch, so don't sweat it. I think the HAMOM is an excellent idea...I would love to get on the list for the coming months myself for my Saginaw conversion.

As far as my attending, I can come for a while in the morning of 24th (wedding in the PM), but no-can-do Father's Day weekend.

Either weekend is fine with me. I was wondering if the venders at the big daddy vendors had stuff for discounted prices? If they do I'll show up. Is there going to be any 4wheeling done at this event? If a bunch of us go to BigDaddy's would you guys wanna meet up and caravan on the way there?

just forget it, this is a pain in the ass, I'll take my toys and go home

If everybody wants to do the BDOF thing, that is cool with me. I don't think I will be able to make it but I might jump in with somebody at the last minute if I can get me kitchen pass

If you guys want to, I'll get the parts together and we (Me, Greg, Juan, Carlos? and whoever can stop by) put the clutch in next weekend (not this coming weekend). I'll get the flywheel out this weekend so I can get it surfaced and ready to go back in. We can also do a little work on anybidy elses rig if they. Not sure if Greg is done yet with his. Regardless, we can get the clutch in, maybe the HEI, and drink a beer or two and have some burgers or something. Maybe we can figure out what the hell is wrong with my Disco too

Anyways, I'll plan on doing the clutch that weekend and whoever can make it is welcome to come.

This also brings us to the next HAMOM candidate, so post up your nominations and weekend that works for everybody

Everything is here and ready to go.

Need to get some tranny fluid and we should be ready to go.

I can't find a pilot bearing puller though, - any idea where to rent one? Napa didn't have any and neither did pepboys.

Need to get a few things at Wally though, spare rags, coolant for the radiator. Gonna do some prep work tonight.

Who's coming? Need to get a head count so I got enough burgers and dogs.

.

Just make sure you have a dremel on hand with a cutoff wheel and a small cold chisel. I've used all kinds of stuff to get them out. Last time was the end of a 3/8 ratchet. It just fit in and had a little taper to it I beat the other end with a deadblow. It came right out. I've never had sucsess with packing grease and a dowel. It always blew out the sides of the bearing.

Chad I will get the bearing puller for ya...I never had luck with the grease packing trick either.
Bytheway...you do not need tranny fluid...you need 90wt gear oil....

We went through two. One we could have left in and it would have been fine i think but i'd rather get one in there 100% right rather than have to pull everything later.
