Should have known. RK has everything.

I have heard questionable things about JT Outfitters. Joe actually owned our cruiser before so we emailed them to ask them questions and get further history on our cruiser. They emailed us back stating to ask for Joe or one other person. Then when we called, they had no clue what we were talking about. They knew nothing about the emails. Who knows about that group..

I have had nothing but bad luck with them over the years.

That is what I had heard. I was looking forward to working with them face to face, and see what I was possibly buying. But it sounds like that isn't happening.

Nice to know as i have not delt with them yet. I will still try and see if i get burned and will start with a little item like paint. On the subject of paint is there a close match in a over the counter can of paint for the stock Grey color? Krylon, ect?
thanks
ERick

I went to Napa and got something i found pretty close. Look at my 45 build and about at the last page you should see what i am talking about. You can put that in a rattle can type deal and spray it yourself.

<Whew> Washed the Super Duty and cleaned the GSMTR dirt off the 40, well most of it. Anybody plannin' to bring one of those "port-a-shade" things. If we hang out we might need one as I have a feelin' it's gonna be HOT!

well right now the weather is brutal.....had some hail earlier and got stuck out in it on the way home. I am watching the main link from NC4x4 and will try to give a weather update as early as I can in the AM. I don't want anyone to have to travel from Raliegh with no heads up on the weather. Feel free to call me if needed. I am on the contact list. Thanks guys and I'll get up early and try to post up something.

I wish. I had two of those and they got torn up at the beach. Still have the canvas part but the aluminum frames got vandalized.

Hey, Juan. Yup, got some pics, will post as soon as I down-size them a bit. We had our "cruiser corner", the rest of the place was filled w. heeps, a couple Broncos and a wild cut-up Chevy with external cage. But the most interesting was the Subaru that almost got sucked into the creek on the trail....

No rain, but it was wet everywhere and around 2pm it got beastly hot.

Good to finally meet y'all, I had a good time at my first "off-road" event (even if the only mud my '62 saw was in the parking area).

Steve

Steve nice to meet you! You missed my big miss adventure that had a big crowd!
I took the kids and wife back in the cruser and the kids went to sleep and i had nothing beter to do so I went back to the event in my Rock crawer Samauri, (sorry not a FJ and glad it was not) but anyway I played around a bit and got on the rock and mud hill and did great except at the end I laid it over on its side! Ouch! We are ok but bent the upper roll bar a bit and broke a mirror. Big ouch as i had been trying to sell it and already had $100 down on it from a few monts ago but the guy still had not been able to get the rest of the money. Any way it was a site too se and i am shure Stacy and Eric got some shots! Whoops!

We sure did Erick. We felt so bad for you. Here you were able to crawl out but poor jeff was still strapped in. We have lots of pics and rather post them all if anyone wants to just send me your email addy and I'll send them your way. We sure missed you Juan. We had a great time. The weather held out great and Steve is right. It got silly hot there towards the end. I really enjoyed meeting you guys and let make sure we have another get together real soon. The trail was on the small side and it seemed like most of it was tailored to the BIG rigs. Tim went throught the lower portion of the rock garden and it looked like his kids had a blast doing it. I think his SO enjoyed it as well. It made me want to make a quick trip down to Uhwarrie to get in on the fun too, but with all the rain I was a little hesitant.

There were a few people selling things and CNC4x4 was there too. JT Outfitters was not there and not sure why. We had 4 40's and 2 60/62's. Sure could have used some back up with all those heeps running around. Should have seen the yahoo in the blazer with the exo....That guy was insane.

Someone had to be there first one to roll Erick. It's a shame it was a ride that you're trying to sell. Jeff I think it's an omen man. Last two times wheelin and you roll both times out. We have to put a stop to that.

Thanks for the photos! Is there a Big Daddy off road site? I am sure my Sammy is pasted all over the internet now! Just wrote to the guy that was going to buy it and told the story that the devil made me do it and and that all heaps had to be put down by some Asian micro machine! LOL! MY Fj40 will be a easy going trail rider.
thanks again and it was fun!
Erick

Oh man did I miss the fun!

Erick (IH8MUD) rolling the Zuk and Tym on the big rocks.... I really would have like to have trailed the '62, felt bad coming home with it so clean.

I know I hated coming home clean. Tim tried to get me kn the rock garden but I just did not think I had enough clearance. I really wanted to go to Uhwarrie today but I heard the weather is a bit rough down that way. I would hate to drive from greensboro just to get soaked.
