Talking Ligon Mill Rd - Today at 330 pm

Have any of you guys around Raleigh been out to Ligon Mill Road. It is a pretty fun place. I have not been in over a year. We should head out there sometime.

North On Capital Blvd
Continue past Durant Road
Right @ major intersection/lights onto Burlington Mills
Continue for ~1/2 mile to traffic light
Left on Ligon Mill Road
Proceed about 1/4 mile - look up - you'll see powerlines - entrance will be on your left at bottom of the hill

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...8,0.050297&t=k

You will probably want to take the 2nd entrance after the bridge, there are 2 the first one can get hairy

Thought I would add in the GPS Cords. they are exact...

"Safe" enterance (#2)
35.55'48.57" N 78.31'42.60 W

If you have Google Earth it has some great sat. photos of the area

Cords don't plug into Google Earth, but the address from the map does. It looks like the trail is a fairly straight shot for a half mile or so, this correct?

Have any of you guys been @ Regency in cary? Awesome place to wheel. Though it's a pretty retarded idea since it's a construction site. Never done it myself, but been there.

I am running down airport at 8 am. In a Army Green 100 series. I have not seen your FJ yet. I work past the Hooters, over off of Paramount parkway.

You might want to make sure that it's legal to ride on that trail.

Pretty much anywhere but Trails aint legal, and there is not much you can do about it. Again same thing with regency park( in cary. Trail along powerlines with some heavy mud pits. It's not legal but cops don't give rats ass. hell I've even wheeled with a cop and his son.
