Oh, and a bitchin FJ45 that may or may not be for sale.

Not sure if it would work for you but got one from my 60 that i had up there for a bit for the 35 inch spare before i built my rear bumper that you can have. The mounting is for a 60 series .

By NO means is this a top of the line one, rather it is a cheap one, but it held a spare and some other stuff.

Any pics of it? All I really "need" are the mounting points and the load bars, but an actual rack with sides would be nice too. What I don't want, is some huge, heavy safari rack that two people can't lift.

I can try and get pics of it tonight. I put it in the woodline out back. Again i reiterate this thing is by no means top of the line. Can not remember where i got it, might of been SOR but i had to put it together myself.

http://forum.ih8mud.com/sale-parts/3...er-heaven.html

What I would turn into if I didn't have a wife and a job that moved me every few years.

Maybe a good place to pick up some parts. Still wish I was headed out to Asheville but man that is a long drive.

Wants 800 for a FJ25 that is posted. Looks to be pretty bare and some rust though. But TONS of parts for those looking.

Need the shorty water pump with 2 groove pulley from a 75 i believe. I can buy the pump but it does not come with a pulley, so if someone has just the pulley (and fan would be great) let me know.

I got 2 pumps, 3 pulleys and 4 fan blades that will not make a working combo somehow

Pretty sure that is Greg Griggs place. He used to price everything by SOR pricing or higher. Unless times have changed, don't expect any windfall deals. He used to set up a "restored" truck on the way into GSMTR for years.

I would go with you Darin or John or whoever wants to. I love road trips and love digging thru places like that. I use to do it all the time with Old Mercedes diesels. Seems to be a lot of MB hoarders..mainly becuase they are addicting and so cheap. I'm sure you have seen that one out by Camp Mackall Darin. I actually got 4 of them running one afternoon, the guy thought they were all crap. While negotiating what he thought was gold he sold the ones that had sat for years that I was able get running...LAME.

But anyway I could borrow a trailer but I would rather not. I REALLY REALLY do not need any projects but would love to add a 45 to the mix one day.

Also it sounds like the guy is in a real bind and at 800 depending with what else he throws in that 25 is not a bad deal. Looks rough though. By looking at that shed something tells me he needs some money for maintenance. Not to mention he states that there are some diesel engines in there. Maybe something other than a 3B. Seems to have a yellow fetish. Or maybe a lot of them came yellow not sure.

I'm in for whoever wants to go.

I'm of the old saying , Cash talk and BS walks. I walk in with some cash for some parts i do not think he will turn alot of it down.

Somewhere i remember something about a Greg Grigg along time ago, like about 20 plus years.

And Jason , I got both the open and a closed trailer.

Well if you really thought you were going to pick up a lot I could follow in my F-250 and tow one of the heavy trailers. I need to find some darn vegetable oil. The 5 gallons I get every 2 weeks now is just not cutting the mustard. I go thru that in a day.

Just let me know.

Disc axle and PS parts

I come home on leave in a week or so and was hoping to get some leads on a disc brake front axle and a power steering set-up for my 74 FJ40. Also, if anyone has any front seats that are in good shape, mine are in need of recovering and I have to make a decision about what to do.

Wish you would of said something sooner. Would of given us time to find one for you. Someone probably still has one laying around. I recovered my seats from the stuff SOR has and they came out nice on my 40. Shane ( Atlas1x ) had / has something also if i remember correctly.

There is a disc brake axle on one of those pictures at the forementioned haven near Tellico.

I've got the same thing with bellhousing but mated to a 205 back home. Just sitting on a pallet. Was going to ship it out here to put into the 40 with the 4bt. Yeah well that never happend. If anyone is interested it is already on a pallet and ready to go. Shipping would be a bitch though.

No big hurry as the wife has my time at home well planned. I was thinking about hoarding a bit until I get home in the spring then do the work. I will try Atlas1x. Thanks,

Camera's on the fritz. I carry this thing around by myself. If you want i am not too sure if you are coming to the event this weekend but i can bring it and give it to someone closer to you. I got no use for this thing here.

Thanks bud, but it's too late for me on this one. I'm heading out Wednesday AM bright and early. I just substantially overloaded my trailer, but it's probably more aerodynamic than the rack anyways.

Cue Beverly Hillbillies music here.....it's a complete joke to see what my trailer looks like right now.
