I am parting out a '75 FJ40 if anyone needs anything from it. The tub is rusted out, and there are no doors, top, or engine. I'm keeping the axles, t-case, and windshield frame. Here's the stuff I'm going to sell:

hood, perfect - $100
front fenders, good - $75 pair
running boards, 1 good 1 fair - $25 pair
roll bar, good - $50
springs, 2" lift (I think) - $50 all 4
4-speed transmission - $100
frame - solid, hitch welded to rear - $100

There are other misc parts also. Let me know if you're looking for anything in particular.

Either of you guys have a complete (bolt on) rear driveshaft? I had mine extended by the local redneck mother f'in machine shop, had to bring it back 3 times and its still not as good as it should be.

I am in the process of a resto-mod on my wifes 82 FJ40. It's currently a rolling frame and a bunch of little pieces.

I am in search of the following parts:

Late model transfer case, cross member, and rear drive shaft (for use with e-brake on the rear wheels not the t-case).

I would buy an entire driveline if necessary but need the parts mentioned above at a minimum. Thanks.

There is a 1971 FJ40 for sale on the Fort Bragg Lemon Lot. It is black with a bkini toop.

I have never seen it before. Maybe Darin has?

The guy wants $12,000 for it!

Overall it is in pretty good shape. New paint job, bedliner in the tub, amd clean underneath. It has a shackle lift and 33 or 35's. It has a full roll cage and a tube bumper. There is a 4 spped in it with the older transfer case. The valve cover says "2F" but it has all "F" accessories on it such as the water pump, thermostat and air cleaner.

4 15x7 6 lug aluminum wheels. Good condition. $50

5 15x7 5 lug Jeep Cherokee rims.....decent set. nothing special. would make a good set for your off road tires. $30

'76 or '78 (bad memory and not too good with 40 series) FJ40, body in good to great shape, frame looks good, poor exhaust system, parked for 7 years, motor looks pretty bad but said to turn over. Blue. $1500 at local 4WD center. www.galloways4wdcenter.com 704-463-1072, ask for Lester.

We saw this FJ40 up close on Mon. when we were picking up a tire at Galloway. We were interested in it, but they were too busy trying to get the drum brakes to work to talk about selling it.
