For sale:
Two jump seats in really good shape. Vinyl is not faded or torn. Also have five point harnesses for both if anyone is interested.
What should I be looking to get for the seats? I'm new to 40's.

Will are they the long or short seats? The short ones in good condition are worth a good little bit. Post pictures and we'll point you in the right direction.

Guys, I am looking for a good 3FE distributor and throttle body for a 2FE conversion - anyone got a spare one or know of a local junk yard that might have one?

WTB Warn Roller Fairlead
Anyone trade out for a synthetic or have one you aren't using? The one on Emma's 80 is nasty looking and we need to replace, but hoping to find a good used one.

WTB: Intake/Exhaust + carb for 2F
Wanted: 2F accessories
I'm looking for an intake/exhaust and a carb for a 2F, fuel pump, oil filter housing, dizzy.
Anyone have anything they want to part with? I have a 4 speed tranny, some stock 40 springs, 1F parts, and some early transfer cases from a 3 spd transmission that I'd be willing to barter with.
Thanks
Mike

The intake/exh for the 2F looks completely different - from what I can tell the carb is different also.
Anyone else know for sure??

I'd like one of those 3sp cases, can check my "inventory" for anything else you might need, or some cash.

The later model F intake and exhaust manifolds will work fine on a 2F. The early Fs had siamese ports or something like that (check the 40 series FAQ, Mark posted up the differences).
Carb base and mount is the same but the routing for the PCV is a little different but will work (I'm currently running a 2F with a 2F 77 carb, 2F intake/exhaust manifold but with the PCV routing of a F).
Carbs are different 1 barrell in some cases for the F vs 2 barrell for the 2F. I would find a 2F specific carb. Check out TrollHole's new import business as he has some brand new OEM Non USA Toyota carbs and distributors for sale.

I saw that 80 on ebay and they cut it off a day early at 500 bucks so I'm sure they sold it already. Someone got hooked up.

Craigslist
1987 toyota fj60 fj 60 land cruiser
I'm sure you could get the thing bonded and a new title some way there is always away.
I sure hope it doesn't get parted out.

I wonder why it "can be driven off road only!"
If all it needs is a title that is easy.
Sent him a few emails it has some rust on the body and the interior needs to be touched up. He said the title can not be gotten and it is for off road use only. He wouldn't really elaborate on that.

The frame is rusted really bad on that one. It is the one we got for parts and never did anything with it, so we sold it. The engine is in good shape though.

I've emailed the guy a couple of times, last was when he wanted it for $800. It's just down the street from my work, I'm going to take a look at it tonight. I was thinking of grabbing the driveline, PS, AC, and axles for my "project 40"... But who knows...
If I pick it up, anybody need anything specific?

This really needs to go in that 60. 600 for a truck 4+ grand to swap in the engine and WHAMO. I would kill to put this in mine but I really love the automatic and I need to focus on getting the 43 before I get to crazy. But for someone local this is one hell of a deal. Heck the transmissions alone were going for that just a year ago. 325HP in one of these trucks would be sweet.

Wait a year and he will have another one to sell
He keeps buying all of this stuff and then selling it off and then deciding he does want to do it and buying the same stuff again.
I'd love that combo with a diesel on it but can't come up with $2100 to get this.
He is also selling locked and geared 80 axles and a 3 link set up for the front.
