I'm looking for a set of rear doors for a 40 that I want to use on my trailer project. I know its a long shot but...anyone got a set of "barn doors" laying around they want to get rid of?

I have a set of amby doors I want to sell. It would be a shame to cut them in half for that, but I guess it's your money. They do have some rust on the bottoms that will need/should be addressed. I would wait and see if you come up with some halfies first though.

Oh, and a bitchin FJ45 that may or may not be for sale.

I have a set of fiberglass amby doors if you wanna chop something up
I have a almost complete rear SF Rear Axle with a 3:73 diff, and I also have a matching 3:73 third that came out of my front axle. Axle is missing one of the brake lines and t-fitting for the lines. New cylinders and drums. $150
I have a rear hatch for an 80 series in green, the panel is in good shape with glass just with a little oxidization and paint overspray from some careless painting of mine. It is missing some of the guts as I needed a new external handle. $50

These would be better if you wanted complete doors, I'd hate to see rust free doors chopped up. Year and price are in the post I'll e-mail pics if U want.

Off topic, but how did the fiberglass work for you? I wound up buying some overpriced steel one's out of Texas and still got some with more rust in the bottoms than I would like.

They weren't too bad, the only red-ass is setting up all the hardware to hook it up to the hinges. They are lighter, don't really feel like good old steel when you close them, but they were Ok. They came on the fronts and the rears of the truck when I bought it. I still have the fronts too.
They wouldn't be my first choice, which is why I bought the steels that I have to replace them. If I didn't go soft top and get the half doors, I'd be building those steels up fo' sho'

Umm, I guess I'm confused. Did you want to sell them and if so, have a idea of what you want?

Excellent, thanks for clearing that up. However, I may request finding a way to pick them up sooner than that, it all depends on the timing. I'd like to use them on my trailer build up that I'm hoping to get done for an early July trip. I'm out of town starting tomorrow until Sun so I'd be willing to drive down next week.
Thanks, I think those will work well with the project...

We'll figure something out, if I visit the next weekend, I'll leave them there and you can grab them whenever in the evening.

I'll try to get some close up pics of it later but here is a LINK to the for sale thread so you can see some installed pics. No shipping available, but I can make arangements for you guys. Looking for $150. hit me up if you guys have any questions.

WTB: 74 - 78 FJ40 Frame
Thinking of the future and know that I want to eventually replace the frame that my 40 sits on now.
I'm not in a hurry but would like to find a really good clean and straight frame. I'm willing to drive a bit for one and don't mind paying for it if it's shape warrants it.
PM me if you have one or know of any for sale.

Jon

Thanks for the update.
I'll PM you with my phone number so we can work together to find an easy way to make the "deal".
I'll be leaving to go on my trip around 7/1, so, in order to get them fab'ed/cut/modified, I'll need them in hand to get the right measurements. I'm pretty flexible with my schedule so I can work around yours...

Does anyone have any rear swing doors or jump seats for a 74 FJ40 they'd be willing to sell? If so send me an email bbowden4@ec.rr.com and any pics that you have.
Thanks,
Brandon
