FJ40Z: Looks like Roger (dukeblue) wants either the springs or shackles or both. Depending on what he wants, I'm just interested in the shackles. Do you know what brand the shackles are (or find out or send me a pic)?
Thanks,
Drew
P.S. - I'm the guy who bought your old FJ40 door shells...

Here are some pics, I just took a picture of one of the springs, they are all the same and the same condition. Mainly just some surface rust, the bushings are in good shape. I think the shackles are MAN-A-FRE. They are pretty beefy.
Drew, how did the doors turn out?

Wanted 2 random parts
Anyone have an extra knuckle grease plug "bolt" that they can get rid of? And I need at least one tail light lense....just the lense for a '78 FJ40
I would order from Specter, but I seem to remember the last little part I ordered took about 3 weeks to receive. I need it for OBX.

FJ40Z: What was the final verdict from Roger on the shackles? Are they for the front or rear? Can you provide a measurement from eye to eye? (I want a stock height shackle...no lift).
Thanks,
Drew
P.S. - I spent a while scratching together all the parts to complete those door shells and in doing so came across a set of Paki half-doors. So I'm trying to get those finished and will likely re-sell your door shells.

a few
Found these today on CL
Toyotas (3)
I talked to this guy. He would trade for a decent 4X4 truck (Toyota Tacoma)
Or he said he would sell them for around 5K a piece. Says one of em you can take around the world and the other still needs some work.
Sounds like he woudl be easy to work with. An older guy who just doesn't need them anymore.
Also found this
1992 Toyota Land Cruiser I'm no expert but seems like an OK deal if in good shape. Something my wife might actually ride with me in

1997 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide
SUPER NICE, not so stock harley for sale. Impeccable condition and very low miles. Treated to cam, fuel upgrade, exhaust, chrome, and more. Over 25k invested, asking 12,500. Lots of accessories available as well or part of a package deal from leathers to the trailer.

looking for a frame for my 74 fj40 i just wrecked. I would like one with minimal rust. Im not sure if the different years had different variations of the frame, but i think anything for a 2f/4speed will work just fine.
