FJZ 80 near Charlotte
1997 Toyota Land Cruiser S - Tan
Don't know how much he wants but it looks pretty good...if you like the red seats.

I physically saw this truck on Sunday. It is EXTREMELY clean and well done...and it has lockers.
My only are the recovered seats. The materials and workmanship is top notch but it isn't my taste; however it could very well appeal to others.
The paint on this truck is as good or better than on my 80. The bumpers and sliders are MINT and the linex is done better than I've seen on other trucks.
Let me know if someone is interested and I might be able to go look at it again.

Not sure...I wasn't in the market but just discussed/saw it in conversation about something else.
It is really a nice truck so I imagine it wouldn't be cheap.

To bad he had to ruin all that hard work with those seat colors.

That must be some kind of joke with the seat, arm rest, sunroof, and visor color.
Almost looks dayglow.

That's my Dad's 80...an ONSC member. He reads the boards regularly so I'm sure he's enjoying all the comments. I'm not sure how much longer he'll continue to pay dues with everyone slamming his truck. I know I wouldn't.

Haha...really your dads truck? Why is he selling it? That is pretty damn funny. What is he asking for the thing?
They are all right though...great quality and would love to have something like that...should have gone with black and orange though..
Go BEAVS
Really though??? And hopefully his butt isn't hurt. We are all freinds here and he should come out in person one of these days so we can make fun of him and admire a rig in that great of condition and attention to detail. Give John a run for his money on the nicest 80 out there.
this is for two thumbs up.

Will I do apologize if anything we said has truly offended you or your Dad. We here do like to give each other crap about our rigs and each other. I always get chuckles because of my primered fender. I also get called a Yeti a lot because of how I look. We make fun of others for how clean or lack their of their rig is. None of it is taken to heart because all of us would also drive over three hours some times to help each other out fixing things. Please don't take any of what we have said seriously as it is just what we like to when we see a rig that is different.

Al is right...I have absolutely NO FILTER..I've been practicing really hard though over the past few years. I know a few others on here are exactly the same way. Take it as a compliment.
Kinda like in the army if your teammates are not making fun of you and are uptight...they don't like you. Or like when I tell my wife she looks fat in her jeans...well then she really looks fat in those jeans..at least she knows she can always count on me to tell her the truth ....totally not worth it all the time

Trust me, it would take a lot more than that to offend my pops, I just felt it was prudent to speak up because he hasn't gotten to know all of ya'll, and I do know he was proud of the work he did on the truck.

Don't make me go wash and wax mine .
Yeah Will - hopefullyI didn't say anything to offend your Dad. Just like I said last weekend I think it's a really nice truck and hate to see him sell it. It would be much better to see Ed out on the trails in it!!
Good luck with the sale and be sure to hit me up again when you're in town next.

I really don't know what he wants for it and I live in Raleigh and I don't know what he's hoping to get out of it...but next time I talk to him I'll ask.

That 80 is just beautiful, Will your Father did things right. It's a shame he's selling it but hopefully he has another project lined up.
And I won't make any comments about the interior, mine is multi-colored too; and while not my personal taste, I for one appreciate the thought and craftsmanship your Father put into it.
Here's hoping it finds a good home.
