Was just at Rick Hendrick picking up more parts again and spoke to the guy running this event. Looks like alot of people have given stuff for the raffle. They are bringing a bunch of new trucks with some mods on them.

Have we got a meet up time/ place yet ? Or where we will be parking these rigs we are bringing. I am bringing an EZ up for my 45 just in case.

DVR...Come on. Are you going to remember that 1 of 10 football games you watched this year where your team got slaughtered or the awesome first annual Rockvember?
Just saying.

I've got a brochure made up for the Tide Ride, but it's just a little bigger than what it will allow me to post. Much like last year's, just with new pictures.... I'll make some up for the booth.

I'm still waiting on hearing back from Jon. I'm going to call the contact at Hendrick and see info he can provide.
At this point, I'd suggest parking your trailer at the Outpost and driving the 45 into the stables across the street. But, I'll make sure and be in touch as soon as I can give any more solid info on a place to meet...

Excellent.
I just place an order at Sam's Club photo center, I made 3 "collage" posters, a couple oversized prints and a bunch of 4X6's to make up other collage posters and/or place them all over the tables as I mentioned above...

Dude, you have to understand NC State fans go to games, regardless of the record. One big reason is because we tailgate for 5 hours prior to kickoff and it can be a blast. I tailgate with about 25 of my college buddies I rarely see anymore, so it is as much a social event as it is a sporting one.
However, I absolutely LOVE college football and tend not to miss a home game for much (Harlan was my exception this year). I do DVR and rewatch the game afterwards - yes it is a bit excessive, but like I said, I LOVE college football.
Can't do it all I guess, so y'all have fun and pour a lil' out for the homies who ain't there.

UPDATE...
Just heard back from Jon Sourbeer on what he knows about the event.
- The organizers are happy we are there and will accommodate us for space as well as they can.
- Vendor's Row is on a freshly planted grass strip near the entertainment events. At this point, still no "map" or formal layout. We will just have to find him/organizer to know the exact spot to meet up
- Jon is planning on getting there at 7:45 to get set up before the 8:30 "Meet and Greet"
- Jon asked if we had a Hilux to bring, sure wish I knew someone who had one of those in the club
- Jon is grateful of our support and anxious to meet everyone.
What I would ask is:
- Lets plan on meeting at the stables at 7:45 to meet up with Jon and get things set up
- For those with rigs to be "displayed", please see if you can dig up your TLCA sticker and post it on there somewhere. I understand how some may not want to do this option, maybe we could temporarily put it on some glass
- Bring tables/chairs/ez-ups we can, won't hurt to have extra
- Bring anything you might think will be helpful like pens, duct tape, extension cord, powerstrip, para-cord, etc.
- Plan on a busy morning with things dying down in the mid-morning/afternoon while people hit the trails, picking up in the late-afternoon/evening when the evening events get started
Please post up with you are bringing and if you can get there at 7:45 am.
Thanks again for everyone's support given the short notice and other conflicting events...

What, no fingerprinting and DNA samples necessary?

I'm sure she would do fine, just tell her to ignore the grinding sounds.
But, Jon, I'd like to see your 40 there. We will find a way to get Greg's truck there one way or another...

UPDATE part II...
Jon just sent me a follow up, we all knew something would change and need last minute help on.
- No power. Organizer just dumped this on Jon. So, we are looking for a small generator and/or power source for the TV/entertainment. I've got an inverter but I'll have to check the power draw on the TV to see if it can handle it, all day. So, if anyone has a small generator, it would work much better than running off an inverter and someone's battery/charging system
- For the rigs that will be "displayed", he requested a small write up/list of upgrades/mods/enhancements/specs for those who come by to check out when drooling over everyone's rigs. Example:
2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser, Sun Fusion, Automatic, 4 X 4, Demello Off-road front bumper, rear bumper, sliders, Budbuilt skid plats with Budbuilt transmission crossmember (aka, Tummy Tuck), Inchworm Lefty transfer case with 4.7:1 gears, Nitro 4.88 gears, ARB front locker front, factory rear e-locker, Sonoran Steel rear lower control arms, ARB roof rack, Super Swamper SSR tires 35 X 10.5 X 16, ICON front coilovers, OME 895/N71e rear springs/shocks, 10lb Powertank, Kenwood DVD/Garmin GPS head unit, MetalTech tube doors, Cobra 75WXST CB, Springtail Solutions rear door storage system and pet barrier Something like that...

I know mine will be short then. I am just going to bring my picture book i made up a bit ago.
I am hoping we will be able to park over where i think they will be having people camp again in the pasture. Any idea if that will be open for this event.

Then my list will be microscopic. At least it has a new timing belt.
Jerry, what about the roof top tent? I guess it will be obvious if you bring it...
FWIW, I can bring a spare, charged battery. I'll ask my neighbor about a generator, but I think he sold his.

From the email I saw from the event organizer, they have done some landscaping for the event and I do believe they are camping in that area. But, they could also be having the mud pit there, or the rock garden, or ???
When a vehicle is properly equipped from the manufacturer, there is little need for a "list". All I expect to see on your 45 is - stock...

Might be able to represent that Hilux of which you speak. I need to do some thinking, asking, coordinating. Not likely but you never know. We would like to camp Saturday night but Deeds is not really a cold person. Suppossed to get down to 40 that night. We might play that part by ear but I'm gunning for it.

Probably should of looked closer to the paper they had at the dealer. Was in front of me for about 45 minutes. The guy putting this thing on has the perfect job for me if he ever leaves it.
And it is not quite stock anymore because it now sports a later 4 speed tranny. And a soft top.

Funny, in order for me to get approval from Greg to drive the Fitty-five, I had to leave a stool sample. I am still waiting for Greg's analysis of it.

Ok, RDU crew.....let's meet at the Mobil Lake Mart on 64 @ 5:30am. We roll out at 5:45am. Bring coffee. I know I will.
I don't plan on camping, though I may reconsider.
I'll check at work to see if we have a generator, but I doubt it.
Jerry - Should we PM our spec-sheets to you, or should we print something up to bring along and display?

Just bring something you can print out and stick on your rig somewhere.
Coffee, I'll be bringing a thermos full also...
