Because the rock was there
Had a little fun while over lunch on a rainy day in the field yesterday. I had been planning on driving up on this rock all day for fun and to show off for the coworkers. Should have seen their faces, they thought I was going to roll...............to be honest, the thought cross my mind to, as this was the highest I had ever lifted a tire.

I am an engineer for a firm that does water resources engineering. We were monitoring a completed stream restoration site. 90% of my time, however, is spent at a desk.
The left rear is definitely off the ground.

Ok, being probably the only member of the club never to have owned an 80-series, my knowledge of them is apparently a little lacking. I thought all 80's were coil-sprung. What year did they dump the leaves?

They are all coil sprung. You must be seeing the control arms (I forget the actual name of them).

That's what I thought. The one on the rear totally looked like a leaf to me though. I guess that would be an awful thin leaf pack.
I guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffin' glue.

They're actually not bad right now. I almost had the wife convinced to get one, but it was a bit too big for her tastes, so she went with the Bimmer.
