URE day trip 10/3 or 10/4
Most of you are probably URE'd out, but if anyone wants to meet to hit Daniel/RML for a run one day this weekend, let me know. Need to shake down this rig before Harlan. Leaning towards Sat, but not married to it.

You know I'd love to as last weekend was the original goal for the big pig but broken bolts and missing pieces kept it from happening. Unfortunately im still waiting on a few items and then have the challenge of getting it running............. but should it happen ill see you on either.

I would consider heading back over there...perhaps I could ride with someone else on the trail as I don't know if my truck would make it through.

Brett, I think it you could do some of the trails and leave it for Rocky Mt and Daniel. I would hate to see your rig scratched up. You need some sliders and to put that lift on before you head out again...Man your rig is going to look sweet.

I could be down for a trip too. I'd want to take the 40 but am hesitant to take it on Daniel...RML 100% but not sure about Daniel without a front locker and my PTO winch doesn't help much for self extraction .
I'd be down to do some other trails and ride with someone on Daniel though.

Yeah for sure, you are right. I don't want to beat it up too soon. I have plans to get some sliders, put on the lift and maybe throw in some lockers for good measure. After that we should be good to go.

I def wanted to do Daniel and play at Kodak a bit. W/ the new ARB, I want to get an idea how this thing is going to drive now. I don't want to spend more than about 4-5 hours there max, just enough to make sure everything is in good working order before I tow it to Harlan.

And, knowing how much you like mud, rain is predicted for Sat. So, Sunday may be best. I have a better chance on Sunday than Sat...

If we decide on Sunday I could probably make it out there.
We're on Fall Break till wednesday.
I would kinda need somebody to help me out, guide me on the trails seeing as I haven't been out in a while..

Guidance on the trails never seems to be an issue with this club, everyone is always willing to lend a hand...we try and make it a point that our members trucks leave the rides in same shape they arrived.

Hey all, here's what I propose:
Meet at the Daniel parking lot (back side) at 9:30 with intentions of starting the trail at 10:00. We'll do Daniel, continue to RML. For me, I'll then be circling back to my tow rig and headed out. I don't want to spend ALL day there, but want to get enough seat time to make sure all is good before I drive 6 hours to wheel in Ky.

Ramon I am going to do all I can to make it, but it looks like my friends at Cisco are causing me some major grief which means I may be working most of the weekend. I'll call/text Sunday morning.

Ramon unfortunately I cannot make it. When you get to work Monday, please let someone at your company know that each octet in an IPV4 address can have 3 digits, not just 2.

Del,
If you got your tire fixed let me know. Heck I'll hook up your Tow bar to my truck...I don't care but I would like to go...Not a big deal though as if we dont' I'm going to try and head out to Darin's to help out if I can and if not just check out his new garage.
Give me a ring before 8 if you get this....been a hard night of bonfires and drinking...not sure how early I will wake.

heres the only two i got....
sorry guys, the vids didnt make it. But i did take a lot of pics on Jons camera.
next week will be nice wheeling on coils for a change
Mihai, it was nice to see you and Hailey and I enjoyed hitting the trails with you again, truck looks good as always. Get those lockers working again and some 35's and maybe a gray IPOR bumper and youll own all of URE. Even as you sit your ride is ready to take you on several of the more challenging lines we didnt try today.
fellas, fun as always. I didnt think Jons forty was for wheeling but i guess I was wrong The whole day I was too worried cleaning my feet so i didnt get the carpet dirty. But we had fun playing around on the ledges on the back side of Daniel and he should have some good shots on his cam. It sounded like Brian had made the gang but I think it was Jons fanshroud finding the limits of clearance as that flexy aluminum tub made its way up the rocks
Ramons 40 just plain walked everything he pointed it at from the steeper right side of the sluice before kodak to the hardest lines at kodak and the back side of daniel. Gotta love the Locker #2 switch on the dash. The aisin carb worked great and he walked away hubs intact after making kodack look silly easy.
Cant wait for next week. but i can say it made me wanna here my 2F purr again even more.

Super fun time today on the trails. It's amazing how much ground you can travel with a smaller group.
Sucks that vid crapped out...it was rediculous how easy Ramon walked up that ledge at Kodak...freaking silly . Can't wait to watch more at Harlan this weekend.
Great meeting you Mihai and Hailey. Hopefully we'll see you out at URE again soon. I'll give you a PM next time I head down to ILM. Like J said, get those lockers fixed, some sliders and we'll have you out on Daniel next time .
I (uh J) got some good pics with my camera and I'll upload the shots and post them up here in a bit.
