Just a little update.

Thought i would give you all an update as to what all was going on and as to why i have not been on here much.

First, I bought a small farm here locally and then moved here to it. Was only about a 15 mile move but i am oh so glad i still had one free move from the military. As soon as we got Robin moved we put our house on the market and it sold in 3 days. Was not ready for that at all but it was nice and props to someones wife on here making it happen so fast.

So then i have to get all of my stuff from the garage moved over here to a small 1.5 car garage. Not going to work as i already know. So, time to find someone to build me one. I really wanted a metal on metal but that just was not in the budget as i did not want to go into savings to build this thing. Just wanted most of it to come from the sale of my old house.

Got a good company to come out here and start building and that is about where we stand now. About 2 more weeks until complete. Now to find someone that will sell me a nice Bend-pac / Mohawk lift.

Once it is done we will have to have a ONSC party in the garage to break it in right.

Darin - that is pretty damn close to what I am going for as soon as the market enables me to sell my current house, love it.

Darin that is incredible! - the entire property. You really do things right. And congrats on selling your current home in only 3 days - that is quite an accomplishment.

Wow,

That is an AWESOME place. How big is that garage door and the overall shop? Looks like there is plenty of room for toys though that is for sure.

They didn't pour the conrete first?

Looking forward to more pictures of it filled with cruisers.

The shop is small at only 2400 sq ft. The doors are 10 x 10. The ceiling is at about 13 ft.

You know the first thing i am going to do is move all the cruisers in there and take some pics. This will be the first time ever that i can have all my cruisers / play toys in one place.

I say it is small because i really wanted a 3200 sq ft one but it was not in the funds. I am really not coming out of pocket at all for this thing which is nice. Thats all thanks to Jason's wife for doing her job very well.

They are pouring the concrete last. I will also have a 2 ft concrete base around the entire outside.

Also this thing is going to have wiring coming out its 4th POC. It has to have its own meter on the building.

Electricity is GOOD!!!. Are you planning on any storage such as a loft area. That extra concrete will be nice. You could store all sorts of extra parts around the building

You are going to be in HOG heaven once you get a lift in there. How about insulation?

Great things come to those that wait. I have been dreaming about this moment for at least 13 years now. Was too hard to do while in the military and not knowing where i might get stationed next. Hopefully this will be home for a long time.

Thanks Maria.

Not to much to report right now, got all of the sides / roof done and had 8 truck loads of clay brought in to level out the ground for the lating of the concrete starting Monday. Tomorrow is inspections / pest spraying.
