East Coast Off-Road Racing Series!!

ECORS – East Coast Off-road Racing Series is proud to announce our first event will be held at Callalantee Trails in Mountain City, TN on October 10, 2009.




The course will include parts of the infamous Welder trail and Little Tellico! Each racer will be timed and the three fastest times in each class will be our Champs! Our winners will receive cash, prizes and trophies of at least 100% of entry fees!!!

There will also be a Rock Crawling competition on Saturday evening on the notorious PULL CABLE trail! Cash, prizes and trophies will also be given to the WINNER!!

ECORS is a traveling race series and during 2010, we will be hosting 4 to 6 races at various OHV destinations in the South East. POINTS awarded from each event, including the 2009 Fall Brawl, will count towards naming our ECORS Grand Champions in each class!!

Pre-Registration sale!! Early bird admission tickets sold by August 31, will only be $15 per person!! Tickets sold during September will be $20 each and at the gate $25 each.

Callalantee ATV & Campground has a daily Riding Rate per vehicle of $11 and Non-Hookup camping spots are available at $11 per night for 2 people, $3 per additional person over 10 years of age.

Yeah - SO many dates to coordinate out there, we looked at pushing this into November but then the cold becomes a real factor up there.

Hopefully this maybe a good option for folks not able to make the other?

Greg / I "think" we are going to issue a formal "club challenge" of some sort in that IF:

A club has 5 or more registered racers - ECORS will donate $xx back to the club OR to the charity of their choice. (Rescue Tellico, etc)

OR

If a club has 10 or more folks pre-registered for the event admission - they will become an official "sponsor" etc. Logo and links would appear on the ECORS site etc.

Please take these as rough estimates - there are 2 other guys in this besides me so all 3 of us approve decisions, etc.

A couple quick updates about the race!!

FIRST - by overwhelming demand from our racers this event will actually be run as an ENDURO (Baja) style race with staggered start times for the rigs.

This means the racers will be on the course for approx 2 HOURS of racing!! I know we have some guys racing in multiple classes, each class will have their time slot.

This should make for a pretty exciting race, not just a single / two timed laps!

For those that are interested, one of our racers is coordinating a VIP Race Rig giveaway!! Dylan has put together some similar packages for other races and it is always a sweet deal for the winner!!

In this case, you will be sponsoring the Race Rig (your name will be on the rig!!) for $10.

The lucky sponsor will be receiving an ECORS membership for 2009/2010, entry fees paid for ALL those races, and a race ready Jeep Cherokee!!

Got off the phone with Cam (Smtybilt) and the Iron Pig gang will be competing!! I know many of the ONSC gang going to KY that weekend, but hoping others will come out to watch.
