Shipwreck Location
Hey guys,
Could anyone tell me exactly where the shipwreck pictured in the ONSC article in the most recent Toyota Trails on our April Spring Tide Ride is located? It mentioned it is near Hatteras, but I'd like to know exactly how to find it. We're heading to the OBX next week and we'd love to see this in person. Thanks for any guidance you may have.

John, I will work on getting you a map of the area and the beach access to see it.
Take Hwy 12 to Eagles Pass Road, Turn Left on Flambeua Road, Left on Seascape, follow it to the end and use that beach access, once you reach the beach the shipwreck will be on your right. We parked in one of the rental unit driveways to access the beach but that was in the off season and it wasn't rented. There is also a Realty place on the corner of Hwy 12 and Eagles Pass Road for a point of reference.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Greg,
I looked on Live Maps and Seascape doesn't connect to Flambeua. Did you mean take a left on Lighthouse Rd.? If that's the case, is the area circle in red in the attachment the approx. location of the wreck?

Actually there was about 5-6 drunken college kids sitting in lawn chairs staring at it.

We caught them passing a hogleg around when we walked up. Seriously.

Beach, sand, water, seagulls, woman and college kids. Check, check, check, check, check and check. Thanks for clarifying that.
