Looks like you guys had alot of fun. Wish we could have made it to this one, but had visitors from NYC and we had to expose them to the outdoors slowly. They're not used to so much fresh air. They wanted to stay at the mall. Although we were able to get them out to Lake Norman on Saturday.

I can't seem to access S4Cruisers pics, must be a firewall issue here at work.

Just wanted to Say thanks for letting the wife and I join the fun. We had a good time hiking and hanging out with you guys. We are definitely going to try and make more runs. Think I have her hooked to go in September now. I have a few shots of the camp pre move and will post them up tonight.

Again Thanks for the hospitality.

Dave

Great trip everyone. You know we can't go anywhere without the NPS getting on us! The curse of Francis Frank is seeming to follow us around the state. I'll upload some of my pics later today.

I'd have to say that Brown Mountain was a enjoyable ride, boring for some more technical crawlers, but as a newb, a nice leisurely, fun ride. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get their truck on some trails, and not worry about messing anything up. Although, Heather tore up the driver side fender flare on a tree stump. And, I got a nice little pinstripe on a tree from some lean around a banked turn.

Heather's got a contact at the Forest Service, and we're going to see what we can do as a club to petition more ORV trails, and look into the whole yeti problems on the overlooking rocks...

I was going to meet you guys at Brown Mtn but did get a chance. I was up in the area and ran through Richland Gap. I hope one of these days I will meet some of you. Sounds like you guys had a time at the camp ground. I decided a few years ago that I don't do camp grounds Just to many people around.

Tim

Al is kinda tall and the goatee is getting a bit bushy, but I am not sure I would call him a Yeti?

I was gonna ask, what was the issue with how you were laid out at the camp, etc?

Remember payment of the campsites were $10 a night per truck. If you haven't paid me (you know who you are) get me the next time you see me (or someone who will)...
