Who from Charlotte is going to Uwharrie next weekend??

I'd like to get us all to at least drive up there together in the morning on Saturday. I'd think we would like to leave pretty early to get out there before the trails get jammed up and before race traffic starts to move.
I'm thinking the 49 is the best route out there as I went this way up there to do some hiking last year during race weekend and it was easy. We could all meet up just off of the 485 on 49 to start the drive.

I know of at least one member that needs a ride out there. I don't know if i'll be able to accomadate him on that so if you have room let us know.

I imagine it would too...but just think about what 39s would do to a stock rear heep axle. A parking block might break it

yeah. Right after you get off the exit there is a huge shopping center where there is a wendys and some other stuff.

Ok meet up at the outpost is 830-900.... i'd like to meet at the wendy's on 49 at 700... this will give us plenty of time to get out to the outpost.
Is everyone ok with this??

I think so far we only have 2 rigs going and three members going that morning. (Josh will already be out there)

I don't know where the Wendy's is. I found one on university blvd but it is on the west side of 485 near the university. The wilco hess is easier to get my wife's friend to with her kids so we will be there if that is ok with you two. We can then find a place to stash David's car.

That's fine with me. You're right, the Hess is just east of 485 and the Wendy's is just west. Hopefully, David (FJinTegaCay) responds that he got this message as well. I'll shoot him an e-mail. I'll see you tomorrow at 7am at the Wilco Hess.
