Its an application that came with Acrobat Pro called Adobe LiveCycle Designer. I've never used it before, but it seems to be working pretty good.

Rick - I sent it last night at ~9:38p to the email address I received it from. When I clicked on the "email" button, it appeared that nothing happened, so I attached it to an email.
I just sent it again, please let me know if I'm being a bonehead and not getting them to you...

FWIW: gas out in the Asheville area was ~$3 this week, we filled up this morning for $2.98. Didn't see any shortages. There is construction on I-40 W at Hickory and in Asheville. The leaves are just now turning, we saw some spectacular scenery this week, I imagine next week will be even better.

I just heard on the radio today that western NC had the cheapest gas in the state right now, hopefully it will even be a little lower by next weekend.

Morning folks! I just sent confirmation e-mails to those who have sent their forms back to me (and I actually received them).
If you got an e-mail that says, "Thanks (name), got your forms." Then you are done with registration.
If you did NOT get an e-mail confirmation from me this morning, then I did not receive your forms. Please try to send them again. I realize that some folks are having issues with the automatic submit function. If you hit submit and nothing happens, try saving a copy to your PC then manually attaching the forms.
Also you may try updating your Adobe Acrobat Reader program (a free download) at Adobe - Adobe Reader Download - All versions
Thanks for your cooperation with this. Doing this through e-mail makes registering 50 folks a lot easier and will be a time saver on the day of the event. Otherwise we will have to collect hand written forms in the parking lot and waste valuable wheel-time

Not sure why this appears to be a MAC issue, but your not the first. I thought Adobe stuff was MAC friendly...
Ask Mtbcoach what he did to make it work. He tried several attempts and got something right the 3rd time.

What I had to do in order to send the form was...fill out all the "active" fields, hitting the "send by email" button didn't do anything, neither did the print button. I used the file/print which opens the print dialogue box, then printed a hard copy to my local printer, then selected the .pdf button. This gave me a choice to save as .pdf, did so to my desktop then emailed Rick with that attached.
If I used the file/save or save as, it wiped the data from the active fields.
That's what worked for me...

That's right, now I remember...
File>Print>
In the drop down box for your printer option choose "Adobe PDF" instead of your normal printer (Epson/HP etc...)
Then it "prints" it as a new file which you save to your desktop.
Then email me that as an attachment.
thanks for the refresher Jerry!

Technically I am primarily using an Apple laptop these days - with a nice Linux distro for the PPC cpu. I think my other PC can run Acrobat Reader, I'll check later on.

Yeah I wasted a lot of time trying to get my Mac to do the auto email.
Lots easier to just open it on the desktop, fill it in, save it as a different file to desktop, then attach it to an email.
Apple wants you to use Preview and I even downloaded a fresh Adobe but I was messing with something else and missed my opportunity to make Adobe the default and never could figure out how later.

Rick, you should have my form now. The process for a Linux user is similar to that for Mac users, I had to save and attach it to the email.

Alright so as we approach this coming weekend we need to organize the caravan. It appears the total trip for the Triangle crowd is about 5.5 hours and we will be departing no later than 6:15am in the morning out of RTP. We will be meeting the Triad crowd at the location shown below:
Triad-Triangle Meeting Location
EXIT 170 WESTBOUND I-40
It appears it will take us a little over 2 hours and 20 minutes to arrive at above destination and from there we will have another 3 hours and 20 minutes putting us at the final destination around 11:30/11:45am.
We need to make sure to have cut off times in place and one individual responsible for contacting those not their 10 minutes before departure of each location as not to get off schedule.
Also, Tommy Sutton has offered his home in sylva as a location to drop trailers and trucks not going on the ride this is about 10-15 minutes from the trail head and if we chose to use this option we need to adjust the times accordingly. I have his address should we choose to do this.
PLEASE, THOSE AT THE BP MEETING THE TRIANGLE GROUP HAVE YOUR VEHICLES FULL OF FUEL SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO MOVE ON.

Due to my recent surgery, I'm going to have to bow out on the trip. My wife/my doc would have my hide if I went.

I should be leaving Cary ~2-2:30p, heading to the meeting place. This would have me getting to the area 7:30-8:00p, depending on traffic and cruising speed. It has been suggested that someone would drive down to meet up with me/us to act as an escort to the Fri camping spot.
That's as much as I know as of right now...

Taking a poll now. What time are the Friday PM folks arriving? I know Mtbcoach said he couldn't get to Sylva until 7:30pm or 8pm. Included in the FRIDAY PM GROUP: fourtrax, sigep0359, 1972FJ40, rutbeer, proinv and ROLDS.

Also id like to get an idea of how many folks are sleeping in trucks vs. tents to check on the space our group will require friday night. Id like to get us up the upper rough butt trail to a lil cabin in the woods but as i count 16 trucks im concerned about enough space being available. I feel confident 10 trucks would fit in a sleepable manner.

I'll most likely sleep in the truck if there's a chance of rain, but will be in a tent if it's dry.
