Rick/Carp,

That looks really great, I speak for the ONSC crowd in saying we really appreciate your efforts for the work you have done to make this happen in time for the event.

Design looks really good guys, thanks again

I am in for one as well, great job. BTW, I think I am going [Going to try and talk Fourtrax into towing me and he has not heard yet]. Not sure I want to drive the 40 for 6+ hours at max 60, But I am sure she can make it if she has to.

Still have to buy a tent other stuff

PM sent.
Good place to break in an FJC.

Food will probably be YOYO. BYO and your own cooking gear. Camping is pure primitive. We will have a fire though. Bring firewood if you have it. I don't think $out can cover two sites for wood.

Thanks for the compliments guys. This is my first shirt, and I'm pretty happy it came out well. Wish I could go on this run, but with a newborn, looks like I'll miss y'all. Maybe next time.

The shirt can be found at the Upstate Cruisers Store >click me<

oopsy must not have completed my reply this am.......

Thanks for posting the T-shirt info Rick and Carp, they did turn out nice. I snuck away to wander in the gorge and just got back yesterday to a multitude of messages. Hope i got back to everyone.

Jerry no worries, if we got late pm arrivers we will just chose an easier access camp spot and send an escort out to lead them back to camp. Looks like its shapin up to be a great time. No colors to speak of, few red maple and sourwood individuals in Linville.

Nice - the Gorge is probably my favorite place in western NC. Been going down in since the late 70s.

Was up on the parkway above 6K feet on Saturday and the leaves are a little further along up there.

It should be perfect in 2.5 weeks!

I'm shooting for the early Friday group ( and dog will be coming too).

I've got a few minor things to sort out with the 80 before the trip but I should be able to get them done in time.

I'll be leaving from Burlington so if anyone coming from the east wants to meet up and caravan, just let me know. Can't wait to see this part of NC...haven't been out this way since I was a young kid!

-Jon

WHAT???? Another 40 on a trail ride? No way man, there can only be one 40 per ONSC event. At least....it nearly seems that way with all the others I have been on.
There seems to be more and more wagons on runs, and even more so with the rides like this. You and I may be the only two. We'll need to keep an eye on our trucks to make sure they don't make a RAV4.

Oh, and a bitchin FJ45 that may or may not be for sale.

I'd be all about taking mine, but I'd love to get Ramon's springs on it before I tackle some trails... Those springs I've got are mighty flat... Oh, and the has plans. We've wanted to get up there and camp, but October is just crazy for us...

Is there a meeting this week? Second Sunday?

If all goes well, my 40 will be there too! Springs coming Brian - if I can get this guy selling the 55 rears to follow up with me. It's killing me how people say they want to sell something then disappear!
