Painting my 62
I've been toying with the idea of laying some olive drab on my FJ62. I really like the look of the military paint jobs on vehicles.
Im fairly new to LCs and wanted to get a feel for the community consensus before i did something as drastic as that. wasnt sure if other than factory paint was a No-no around here (recently recovering land rover owner). Does anyone have any pics of an FJ60-62 or even 80 being used for military service? Any idea, what military used them if any, and any special markings for company/unit designations....things like that. |

I say paint it, If you like it than thats all that matters. Personally I think it would probably look pretty cool. Maybe post up in the 60's section and see if anyone has done it.
