..................URE October 6th.....................
The Triangle and Triad crowd will be having a trip October 6th at Uwharrie. We will be meeting at the El Dorado Outpost at 9am. We will be leaving the Outpost at 9:30am to be on the Trails by 10am. Please respond if you plan to attend this event so we know who to look out for before departure from the Outpost at 9:30am.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me or Barry (Rutbeer).
Thanks, and hope to see you all there.

I think I'm good for this.. there's really no reason why I shouldn't go.. haven't gone out wheeling in a while.. school/work leaves me almost no time I need a break...

I can not make it. Anyone up for a week day ride in October, either on a Tuesday or Thursday? Skip work, going wheeling on empty trails, come home, repeat!

If it isn't fixed by then, probably....I'm to the point that if the engine blows up, I wont be too pissed because best case scenario means tearing almost everything apart, not much more work to just replace the engine.

That is very unfair to those with whom you wheel. They're going to wheel, not to get your rig off the trail due to something that was preventable.
Also, antifreeze spewed onto the trails and into the water supply is a Bad Thing.

If you bring the pig I'll gladly tow it out if it falters, but I have to admit it was nice just being pulled around in my 40 with the top off on a nice day by a supercharged 80. Thats the best gas mileage I've ever gotten by far.

Well, if I was going I would vote you bring the Porker! However, it looks grim for me. The wife's going out of town w/ her work, so my dogs would be here alone. Plus, I am going the following weekend to URE for a annual trip w/ "the guys".

If I get stranded, I'll move it out of the way and you guys can truck on. I can get friends from home to help. It's not so much an internal leak as it is external, very little white smoke, if any. Just leaks onto the block, and burns off.

I'm going to try to make it. Stacy is out since the baby will be here in 4-5 weeks. Wheeling URE in the 40 would like start an early delivery. And we definitely don't want that. I'll just be in for the day trip though.

I got your back. If you kill it I'll pull you to the street, or Albermarle if necessary.
I've had this weekend on the sched for weeks since you told me it was your first weekend home.
I'll be coming up Friday night to Arrowhead. If you want after I settle Jeri into camp I'll come over and rehab your head gasket with you.
Otherwise bring old towels and a shovel in case it turns into a gusher.
