Uwharrie Ride - Dual Club Function (SC/NC)

Just to reiterate, Dec. 9th and 10th. North meets South part 2.

The more the merrier (don't let SC outnumber NC this year).

Vids from last year:

Awesome - good to hear, Darin. You were there last year too, we just didn't meet up. We'll have to plan the meeting time / place better this year.

We got a slow start from camp Sat morning so you were at the Outpost and on the trails before we left camp probably.

Wasn't that the trip you broke your 40's motor mounts on Daniel?

Count me in for this one, minus camping. Also, if anyone else wants to camp for free w/ running water and electricity, no tents needed let me know, I have a "party barn" 15 minutes down the road from the trail head.

It can sleep 30, maybe more. Parking enough for 40 cars. All but 4 occupants must be able to climb 10 foot ladder to their sleeping area.

Cool. Always a good option if the weather gets nasty. Last year on Saturday night it sleeted and dropped to about 25 degrees. Cold and wet!

Is there a fire ring?

?"If I am in country"?- did you get a job overseas?

I have been out of the loop for while.

I would like to go on the trip as well but I am not sure my 40 is completely trail ready. We'll see.

We couldn't have hacked the top off last year. Between the sleet and ice on Sat and the lows in the low-20's at night, it was a little too cold to have wind added to the equation.

Hopefully this year will be a little warmer.

Yeah, a few people did that on the early last spring Cullowhee trip. Engines started cranking around 4.

I slept through the cold in the wagon to wake up to all of the drinking fluid (water, gatorade) frozen solid.

My point was more above moving - driving with the top off a 40.

Thanks Darin. I don't know if there is just a blockage of some sort of the whole thing is just fried. I'll have to fool around with it and see.

I could still use the metal ring for the rear passenger quarter panel turn signal if you still have extras.
